NEEDED: Primary School Teacher for SEN School in N10, Brent, North London.

Role: SEN Primary School Teacher

School: Mixed SEN, 5 - 11 years

Needs: High functioning Autism

Pay: Paid to scale

Duration: Immediately - Full Time - Typical Hours 8.00 - 16:30

Location: N10, Brent, North West

Responsibilities

  • Individualised Lesson Planning: Develop and implement individualised lesson plans tailored to the specific needs and learning styles of each autistic child.
  • Behavioural Support and Management: Employ effective strategies for behaviour support and management, recognising and addressing the unique behavioural challenges that may arise in autistic children.
  • Collaboration with Support Staff: Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to meeting the diverse needs of autistic children.
  • Family Engagement: Foster strong partnerships with the families of autistic children.
  • Data Collection and Progress Monitoring: Implement systematic data collection methods to monitor the progress of each autistic child.

You must have the right to work in the UK and a DBS on the Update Service.
