We are a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) school committed to providing exceptional education and support to students with diverse learning needs. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Leader to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our school.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:Provide strategic leadership and management to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning across the school.
- Curriculum Development:Lead the development and implementation of a tailored curriculum that meets the needs of all students, with a focus on your subject specialism.
- Staff Development:Mentor and support teaching staff, fostering a culture of continuous professional development and collaboration.
- Student Support:Oversee the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure all students receive the support they need to succeed.
- Parental Engagement:Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to support student progress.
- Compliance and Safeguarding:Ensure the school meets all statutory requirements, including safeguarding and SEN regulations.
Requirements:
- Qualifications:A relevant degree and teaching qualification. Additional qualifications in SEN are highly desirable.
- Experience:Proven experience in a leadership role within an SEN setting. Experience in curriculum development and staff management is essential.
- Specialism:Expertise in a specific subject area, with the ability to lead and develop this subject across the school.
- Skills:Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
- Commitment:A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to improving outcomes for students with special educational needs.
