We are currently seeking passionate and committed SEND Supply Teachers to support schools across Hackney and Camden.Opportunities are available for permanent, contract, and daily supply roles.

As a SEND Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs. Your work will help students access the curriculum, develop key skills, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of students with SEND.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that foster student growth and development.
  • Promote an inclusive, supportive learning environment where students feel valued and motivated to succeed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Specialisation or additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or SEND teaching are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience teaching students with SEND, preferably within a school environment, with a deep understanding of various SEND types and strategies to support learning and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with students who may have complex needs or display challenging behaviours.
