We are seeking a compassionate SEN Teacher for a temporary maternity cover.

Join our specialist school, supporting students aged 816 with speech, language, and communication difficulties. You'll deliver tailored education in a collaborative environment where Speech and Language Therapy is integrated into the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities SEN Teacher:

SEN Teacher

Delivering engaging, individualized lessons tailored to meet the specific needs of students with speech, language, and communication difficulties.

Collaborating closely with our Speech and Language Therapy team to ensure an integrated approach to student development.

Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.

Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.

Contributing to the wider school community and participating in school activities and events.


Requirements SEN Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience working with students with speech, language, and communication difficulties is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

A commitment to creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
