SEN Teacher - Hillingdon

Here at Academics we are currently working with a SEN secondary school in Hillingdon who are seeking an SEN Teacher to start as soon as possible. This school are keen to add a few SEN Teachers. One will be to work in Year 7 and another SEN Teacher is required for Year 8. We are seeking a dynamic SEN Teacher who will be able to teach SEN children to help them across their learning and development

The Role:

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth.
  • Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn
  • Manage behaviour, mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress
  • Work with specialist teaching services, medical staff, counsellors and psychologists

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Ideally have experience as an SEN Teacher
  • You must have a genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to inclusive education
  • Demonstrate an ability to create engaging and differentiated learning experiences
  • Either live in Hillingdon or within a commutable distance
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
