Academics, are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a vibrant Primary school setting in Hillingdon. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in supporting students with SEN, particularly those with Autism and complex SEMH needs. You will play a key role in running intervention groups and providing one-on-one support to enhance the learning experience for these students.

You will work closely with the SENCO and class teachers, contributing to the school's strong home-school relationships and positive environment. The school prides itself on its effective behavior management and supportive atmosphere for both pupils and staff.

Key Requirements for SEN Teacher:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualifications
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for a new one)
  • Either live in Hillingdon or within a commutable distance
  • Experience in SEND settings
  • Adaptability and willingness to engage with the wider school and local community
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
