SEN Teacher - Full time - North London - November start

Are you passionate about helping the lives of young autistic children? We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to work at a special needs school based in North London.

This special needs school are dedicated to supporting young individuals with autism and learning disabilities by creating a more personalised teaching environment, in order to ensure learners can unlock their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently apply positive behaviour support strategies throughout teaching.
• Actively consider using a range of appropriate, motivating, age respectfulness resources.
• Have an ability to adapt your support style to meet a range of learners needs operating and across a variety of ages.
• Contribute and support to the overall vision, values and continual improvement of the college

Peronal Attributes:

• Proven ability to solve problems quickly and remain calm
• To have the physical and emotional resilience to work with autistic children/YP who may have behaviors that challenge
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (in English)
• Good appreciation of health and safety in the workplace, data protection principles and equal opportunities.

This school is located only a short walk away from public transport making traveling to and from work very accessible!
