Location: Barking and Dagenham
Salary: £145 to £230 per day (dependent on experience)

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to work in a specialised school in Barking and Dagenham. This role is perfect for experienced professionals with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including moderate learning needs and behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development.
  • Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes.
  • Manage behaviour effectively and ensure that each student feels supported and safe.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an SEN teaching role is preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and behaviour management techniques.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
