The school is looking for an experience SEN Teacher that has an understanding of special educational needs. Our school is designed to engage students in their education with a personalised approach and we want to welcome a dedicated SEN Teacher to supporting students from January 2025.
SEN Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting a class of 5-7 students
- Planning, leading and teaching classroom activities
- Monitoring and recording progress both academically and against EHCP's
- Working closely to keep students engaged, motivated and inspired
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants so they can effectively support pupils
Applications are most welcome from teachers with the following attributes;
- QTS (Qualified Teaching Status) or relevant teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for a new DBS)
- Excellent Primary curriculum knowledge
- Experience Teaching in SEND Settings
- Willingness and adaptability to contribute to the wider school and local community.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
