About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English and Maths lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Work closely with support staff and other educators to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes independence, confidence, and a love for learning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience teaching English and/or Maths, ideally within an SEN or alternative education setting.
  • A passion for supporting students with additional needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Unqualified teachers with relevant teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
