A SEN teacher is needed for a pupil referral unit (PRU) in North London for secondary school students with special educational needs aged 11-16.

As a SEN teacher, you will be working with students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools, with the aim of providing them with qualifications to ensure a successful future.

Your responsibilities as a SEN teacher may include:

  • Being aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

To be a SEN teacher, you will need:

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas trained teacher awaiting QTS.
  • A clear and up-to-date DBS
  • Experience working as a Teacher in a UK school.
  • A patient and 'can-do' attitude.
