SEN Teacher

Apex Educ8 is seeking to recruit a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher for a fantastic school in Southeast London. This is a full-time position, starting immediately.

The ideal candidate will be a hardworking professional with a strong commitment to helping students with special educational needs reach their full potential. SEN Teacher Job Specification:

• Location: Southeast London
• Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher
• Contract: Term to Perm
• Full/Part Time: Full Time
• Rate: £140 – £200 per day (DOE)
• Hours: 8:30am – 4pm

SEN Teacher Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons tailored to meet the needs of SEN students.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to support a range of learning abilities.
• Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Monitor and track student progress, implementing strategies to support their development.
• Create and maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and promote positive social interactions.

YOU MUST:

• Hold valid RIGHT TO WORK in the UK.
• Hold an Enhanced Child DBS on the update service.
• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Provide two professional references.
