About the role - Secondary SEN Teacher - Southwark
- Provide inspirational, specialist, and highly differentiated lessons to classes with Special Educational Needs at KS3 and KS4.
- Assessment should be used accurately and productively to promote good pupil (academic) progress and emotional development, including the use of Boxall Profiles each term.
- Establish a stimulating and well-structured learning environment for students with special educational needs.
- Ensure that the needs of students in your SEND classes are addressed across the wider school, as well as with their mainstream class teachers
- Provide support with numeracy and literacy, as well as deliver a variety of subjects, including Geography, History, Religious Education, and enrichment, as part of a bespoke, topic-based curriculum.
- Actively participate in the development of the school, including the development of departments and whole schools, as well as implementing national best practices
- Take an active part in the school's performance development, review, and supervision processes.
