TimePlan Education is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Special Needs Teacher to join a dynamic secondary special needs school in Islington. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students with disabilities and learning difficulties. The position is available for an immediate start after the October half-term (November 4th), though the school is willing to consider a January 2025 start for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality education to pupils with a range of disabilities and learning difficulties, in line with the KS1/2 National Curriculum.
  • Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Build positive, collaborative relationships with pupils, parents/carers, therapy teams, and other specialist services to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Work as part of a team on an exciting journey of growth and development in a new school environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and self-motivation in meeting the challenges of a special needs teaching role.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
