This role is for a Director of Fundraising and Marcomms to join a leading charity. You will be reporting to the CEO.

Our client is a well-established charity, based in London.

Description

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to raise funds for the charity, but expanding and capitalising on income streams.
  • Oversee marketing and communications activity to support with fundraising campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community leaders.
  • Identify and pursue potential partnerships to expand reach and influence.
  • Research and identify new major donor prospects, leveraging networks and resources to expand the donor base.
  • Monitor and analyse fundraising performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.

Profile

A successful Director of Development should have:

  • A strong background in management, preferably within a Not For Profit setting.
  • Proven experience in fundraising and strategic planning.
  • A deep understanding of marketing strategies and agency management.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the organisation publicly.
  • A passion for wildlife and a commitment to conservation.
