Job Title: Delegate Sales Representative
Location: Canary Wharf, London (Hybrid working)
Pay: £14 - £16 per hour
Hours: Part-time or Full Time, 8am- 4pm/9am-5pm
Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time (3 months minimum)
Responsibilities:
- Be the first touch point for potential delegates, creating a welcoming experience.
- Focus on generating leads, primarily from warm contacts who have previously engaged.
- Conduct majority of outreach through phone calls, ensuring meaningful conversations.
- Follow up with engaging emails to solidify connections.
- Manage accounts, maintaining relationships and staying proactive with communication.
- Handle conference ticket sales.
- Navigate both public and private sector processes, understanding that public can take a bit longer.
- Own and maintain a dedicated spreadsheet for tracking all leads and interactions.
Experience/Skill Set Looking For:
- Ideally, you have experience in events or marketing industries.
- Background in delegate sales is a plus!
- Familiarity with marketing and events companies will set you apart.
- Strong communication skills and a knack for building relationships.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple leads efficiently.
