Exciting Opportunity for Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) - Band 7 In & around London
MedicsPro is seeking experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioner’s(ENP) - Band 7 with recent NHS experience, who are looking for flexible extra shifts or full-time agency work in & around the London Area. We have opportunities for various shift types, including long day's, night's, early's, Late's and twilights.
Job Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Current registration with the NMC
- ILS
- Full EPP Clearance
- 2 clinical references to provide your ENP skills to cover the last 3 years of work history.
Preferable Experience:
Minimum 6 months UK experience within the last year, working in an ENP role.
Qualifications:
Completed adult nursing degree
Evidence of completion of V300 prescribing certificate
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient assessment, including pain assessment and management
- Diagnosing problems such as sprains, strains, cuts and bites, giving medication (orally or via injection), and treating minor injuries including burns and wounds
- Reading and assessing X-rays
- Administering some medications, including antibiotics
- Recording ECG examinations
- Discharging patients when appropriate
