In this role, you will deliver both individual and group interventions in community and custody settings, focusing on the Culturally Integrated Family Approach (CIFA) to domestic abuse. You will engage with victims, perpetrators, family members, and extended networks to address and reduce domestic abuse across the North and North West London boroughs.

  • Maintain high standards in assessments, reports, and intervention planning.
  • Provide consultations to professionals to enhance referral appropriateness and understanding of domestic abuse.
  • Lead and participate in training courses and interventions as needed.

Safety Support Service Integration:

  • Work closely with Domestic Abuse Safety Advisors to manage risks and establish treatment goals.
  • Ensure a culturally sensitive and integrated approach is employed prior to interventions.

Recording and Administrative Tasks:

  • Accurately record data (attendance, feedback, reports) using RISEs systems.
  • Maintain an audit trail of communications with partner organisations.
  • Complete risk and vulnerability assessments in accordance with RISEs templates.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of social impact through questionnaires and case studies.

General Tasks:

  • Attend clinical consultancy meetings for ongoing support and professional development.

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of race, culture, and equality issues in communities.
  • Experience in domestic abuse or trauma interventions.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and produce high-quality reports.
  • Experience in multi-agency liaison and risk management.
  • Capacity to motivate and engage challenging client groups.
  • Openness to feedback and willingness to adapt to new ways of working.
  • An Enhanced DBS Check is required.

Desirable Skills
