An oversubscribed Special Needs School in Lambeth is recruiting a sports graduate to work as a Play Supervisor. The role is to start ASAP for the remainer of the academic year. Working hours are 9.30am - 2pm Monday to Friday.
The school caters for students aged 2-11 with an EHCP for PMLD, Autism and complex needs. They have a strong academic focus; however, they also wish to develop student's independence in a fun and nurturing way.
Job Details:
- Supporting children from Early Years to KS2 Autism and complex needs
- Lead and organise games and activities for the children during break and lunch time.
- Most of your time will be spent in the playground.
- Help children with their social interaction
- Have a calm and positive demeanour with a sense of humour
- Previous experience with Autism and complex needs is desirable but not essential
- Part time - 25 hours per week
