Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sports Coach to join a fantastic Primary School in Croydon. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and teaching sports lessons, promoting inclusivity and diversity in sports, and creating a supportive and exciting environment for children across Primary School level.

Sports Coaching Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive sports lessons for participants of all Primary ages and abilities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes diversity and equality in sports
  • Provide individualised support and feedback to participants to help them improve their skills and confidence
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a supportive and cohesive team environment
  • Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play among all participants

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in planning and teaching sports lessons as a sports coach
  • Strong knowledge of the Education industry
  • Strong understanding of the principles of diversity, equality, and inclusion in sports
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt coaching methods to meet the diverse needs of participants
  • Relevant coaching certifications and qualifications a plus

Sports Coaching Day-to-day

  • Planning and delivering sports lessons
