About the Role:

We’re looking for a dedicated Sports Coach to deliver fun, engaging, and inclusive sports sessions to children with a range of special educational needs (SEN). You’ll be working within schools to help students develop confidence, coordination, and a love for physical activity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan and lead adaptive sports sessions tailored to students’ needs
  • Create a positive, supportive, and safe environment for all participants
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure sessions meet educational and developmental goals
  • Encourage teamwork, communication, and self-esteem through sport

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, physical disabilities)
  • A background in sports coaching, PE teaching, or a related field
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a creative approach to engaging students
  • Relevant coaching qualifications (FA, UK Coaching, or equivalent) - desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
