Role: Unqualified Sports Coach

Milk Education is seeking a passionate and energetic Unqualified Sports Coach to join a vibrant primary school in Muswell Hill. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-regarded primary school where you’ll help deliver engaging and dynamic sports sessions for students across various year groups.

The school is committed to promoting physical education and encouraging an active lifestyle for all its students. As an unqualified sports coach, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire and motivate children, helping them develop their skills, confidence, and love for physical activity. You’ll work closely with the teaching staff and the leadership team to support the school's PE programme, and there’s the potential to also support after-school sports clubs. In the future, there may also be opportunities for growth within the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist with delivering a range of fun and engaging sports activities to primary-aged children.
  • Support PE lessons, ensuring that all students are actively participating and learning new skills.
  • Encourage teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship among students.
  • Help with the organisation of sports events and extracurricular activities, including after-school clubs.
  • Promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist with maintaining equipment and ensuring safety during sports activities.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to create an encouraging and supportive environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for sports and physical education.
  • Experience working with children or in a coaching role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage children of all ages.
  • A positive, energetic attitude with a focus on encouraging active participation.
