Compass Corporate services are proud to be working with a leading national health care organisation to recruit a Procurement Sourcing Specialist who will be required to be in a hybrid smart working environment. It is a very exciting time to join this well established, market leading organisation as they build their Procurement team following the appointment of a recent Head of Procurement. As the Procurement Sourcing Specialist you will play a pivotal part in leading the sourcing and contract management of a portfolio of medical equipment’s, associated services, and Indirect categories.

The Role

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Procurement of the business and As the Procurement Sourcing Specialist you will support the Procurement team to deliver cost savings against agreed targets whilst maintaining required levels of service and to develop and implement comprehensive sourcing SharePoint aligned to the businesses requirements.

Requirements

  • Review and process of requisitions and purchase orders on NetSuite on a timely basis (i.e. manage requisitions and incomplete purchase orders to ensure that Hospitals kept up to date with their requirement.
  • Ensure the hospitals are supported if any delay in the processing of a requisition, or, the delay in the delivery of goods for outstanding purchase orders.
  • Work collaboratively with the business to drive appropriate stakeholder engagement and ensure good information flow on Sourcing activities and contract implementation.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in material management or category management ideally in Healthcare setting.
  • Educated to degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field required.
  • Proven track record in complex Indirect and or capital equipment and services procurement.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, and influencing skills with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds. With ability to work in multi-site complex environment.

Location

The Corporate offices are based in London and you will be required to work in a hybrid smart working environment.
