Sterling williams are currently working alongside an asset management firm, who are seeking an expereinced Settlements/Operations Analyst to join there firm on a permanent basis. (Please note this role is 5 days a week in the office)

Responsibilities will include

- Work with portfolio management team to ensure timely settlements of executed trades- Facilitate trade settlement by notifying custodians and helping to resolve any settlement issues. Act as liaison between executing broker-dealer and custodian bank.- Provide trade processing support across various security types.- Oversight of daily cash and positions reconciliations. Complete month end custody reconciliations against accounting system positions.- Process and calculate corporate actions and income processing in portfolio management system.- Provide support for Head of Operations.- Help to develop and implement efficient processes and workflows as our business grows and changes.- Assist in month-end statement/reports production- Help create and maintain ad hoc or custom reports- Proxy voting process including liaising with the portfolio management team.- Maintenance of procedures documentation and continually review and update processes and procedures to reduce risk and improve efficiency- To act as an additional resource to the compliance team where required for MIFID II compliant processes.- Preparation of MIFID II Client Reporting documents- Preparation of quarterly failed trades stats- Preparation of Daily Holdings and sectors report- Process new stock set-ups- PFIC checks on Global and Eafe portfolios.- Preparation of Quarterly proxy voting summary- Preparation of Research Payment Account tables including processing broker invoices into the RPA system.
