We have an amazing opportunity to join a creative consumer brand offering lots of opportunity for growth and development. They are looking for a commercial Buying & Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team to work across the buying, procurement, & supply chain functions of the business.
Working closely with both internal teams and their global factory base, you will be key in ensuring products are ordered and delivered in a timely and efficient manner to their retail customers. Your role will involve working with large number of products, forecasting, managing the inventory and stock levels, and supporting across the supply chain function . The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and a deadline driven approach, with good Excel skills. Some experience within a fast-paced role and consumer goods environment within a Buying, Demand Planning, Procurement or Supply Chain function would be a bonus.

Duties will include:
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to global retailers
- Assist in managing end-to-end supply chain operations including buying, inventory control, and distribution to end customer
- Working with the wider team on stock planning for continuity lines, ensuring optimum stock availability at all times
- Along with the supply chain team, ensure POs are in line with the critical path and agreed delivery to retailer dates
- Working closely with the merchandisers at the retailer customers, ensuring accurate and realistic forecasts
- Book retailers’ orders with freight forwarders portals, liaising with global suppliers as required
- Processing orders through internal systems, ensuring accurate WIP at all times
- Working closely with the warehouse to ensure on-time delivery out to customer
Skills and attributes:
- Highly numeric with an analytical, data driven approach
- Some experience within a Buying, Demand Planning, Procurement, or Supply Chain function or similar ideal would be ideal
- A proactive problem solver and an excellent multitasker, thrives working within a busy, fast-paced environment
- Some work experience or an internship withing FMGC or a supply chain function would be beneficial
- Good communication skills and a great relationship builder
- Strong MS Excel skills
