Contracting & Purchasing Manager - Travel Tech Ground Transportation CompanyAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading global ground transportation and travel technology company. This role will be key in managing supplier contracts across the EMEA region, helping to drive the continued growth of the business in this dynamic and rapidly expanding sector.

Contracting & Purchasing Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Contracting Director to develop and implement strategies for expanding the product offering across the EMEA region.
  • Source and contract new ground transportation suppliers and freelance drivers across the region.
  • Negotiate competitive pricing with both new and existing suppliers, ensuring the best value in the market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and new suppliers, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Work in close collaboration with internal teams across various departments to ensure alignment on key objectives.
  • Stay abreast of local market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to ensure the company's product offerings remain competitive.

Contracting & Purchasing Manager Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven expertise in the ground transportation or transfers market, or experience in a similar role within the travel sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with a track record of securing advantageous contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering solutions.
  • A charismatic, people-oriented individual who thrives in collaborative environments.
