Are you a dynamic operations leader with expertise in logistics, warehousing, delivery, and retail? Henley Morgan is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to oversee and enhance our client’s end-to-end supply chain and operational functions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The Role:

In this leadership position, you’ll manage a team of 20+ professionals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while driving efficiency and continuous improvement. Your expertise will shape the company’s logistics strategy, optimize workflows, and contribute to long-term business success.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead and develop teams across logistics, warehousing, and delivery, fostering a culture of excellence.

  • Implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and support business expansion.

  • Manage logistics operations, fleet coordination, and third-party relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries across the UK and globally.

  • Oversee inventory control, warehouse optimization, and reverse logistics to maximize efficiency.

  • Uphold high standards in product quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to execute long-term operational improvements.

  • Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and lead change initiatives for better cost management and service delivery.

What You’ll Bring:
  • Strong leadership experience in operations, ideally within a fast-moving retail or logistics environment.

  • Expertise in logistics, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain management.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP B1 ERP, warehouse management systems (WMS), and advanced Excel for data analysis.

  • In-depth knowledge of UK and global logistics, including import/export regulations.

  • Health & safety certifications (IOSH Level 3 or NEBOSH) are a plus.

  • A proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving and operational challenges.
