We are proud to partner with one of the UK’s most creative and fast-growing Cosmetics brands who are in search of a Supply Chain Coordinator with a passion for planning accuracy, system & process optimisation and has a pedigree of building relationships with a complex network of suppliers. In the short time they have been trading they have grown exponentially, now an award-winning business they are entering the next phase of ambitious growth and business transformation.

What is expected of you?

  • Operational responsibility for the supply planning function
  • End to end inventory and production planning control & supply chain optimisation
  • Manage all short to mid-term material planning (raw materials, components & packaging) for in-house production working very closely with a growing supplier list
  • Run and manage short-term / mid-term supply and production plans.
  • Continuously monitor and improve forecast accuracy at a SKU and category level.
  • Management of suppliers & freight forwarders to ensure optimum performance
  • Responsible for supply data input, analysis and management
  • Resolve all supplier issues, price discrepancies and ensure a positive working relationship
  • Stock replenishment, management & reconciliation

As a successful SME going through sustained growth, it is essential that the Supply Chain Coordinator is a hugely proactive individual who will lead from the front and provide the following experience -

  • 3 + years of supply chain planning OR Material Planning experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of supply planning and experience of managing a dual function
  • Passionate and experienced stock / inventory professional with experience of managing complex supplier relationships.
  • Forecasting experience
  • Supply specialist capable of managing all operational planning duties autonomously
  • Experience of working autonomously and able to meet and exceed targets
  • Experience of supplier performance management, cost management & reporting
  • Flexible individual able of managing end to end supply chain projects
  • Superb communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Hugely proactive individual, able to think outside the box under pressure
  • Excellent number cruncher and solid experience with Excel & ERP systems
