Supply Chain Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for an analytical and proactive Supply Chain Manager to join our client a mission led SME food business based in central London. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our supply chain, ensuring smooth coordination between our commercial team, manufacturing partners, and retailers. This role is pivotal to maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain while supporting business growth and reducing environmental impact.



Key Responsibilities:

- Create a robust and accurate demand forecast

- Collaborate with the commercial team to align demand forecasts and production planning with retailers and manufacturing partners.

- Oversee daily stockholding, raw material management, and order placements with manufacturing partners.

- Manage manufacturers and third-party logistics providers to ensure consistent product supply to customers.

- Investigate and resolve distribution and availability issues.

- Drive continuous improvement to elevate customer service levels and supply chain efficiency

- Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency and manufacturing performance.

- Develop sustainable supply chain solutions for new products and channels.



The ideal candidate will have:

- 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain role within a retail FMCG or manufacturing environment.

- Experience with chilled, short shelf-life products is highly desirable.

- Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills.

- Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially focused.

- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a small, dynamic team.

- Strong time management and the ability to work independently.

- A continuous improvement mindset with a sense of urgency to drive results.


This is a hybrid role where you will be in the office 3 days a week.


The salary bracket is 40,000 - 45,000 + bonus and benefits
