The Company
My client is one of the largest and fastest-growing survey companies in the UK. With offices throughout the UK, they deliver projects on time and on budget for all sizes of customers within the construction and civil engineering sectors. They offer a full range of innovative topographical, underground utility (PAS128), measured building, hydrographic, rail, engineering and geographic survey solutions across a broad range of sectors in the UK and abroad.
The Land Surveyor Role
They currently have an opportunity for a Land Surveyor, ideally based in North London or the North Home Counties, with the willingness to combine hybrid working with travel to projects / schemes of work, in the London, Home Counties and East Anglia regions.
Suitable candidates should have at least 3-5 years experience working as a Land Surveyor with a strong understanding of the technical requirements of the role and a robust work ethic.
In addition, the following attributes are essential:
- Working knowledge and able to demonstrate correct use of Total Station, Laser Scanners and GNSS.
- Experience in taking projects from field to finish liaising with clients on requirements/specification and providing professional advice.
- Proficient in the creation of technical survey reports.
- Experience of working with teams of less experienced surveyors, adopting a coaching and mentoring style.
- Effective communication skills.
- Able to work well and contribute as part of a team.
- Ability to use your initiative, problem solve and work to deadlines.
- Good time keeping.
- A committed attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced industry.
- A full UK driving licence.
