Income Services Officer (Home Ownership) - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Hyde is looking to recruit an Income Officer.

As an Income Officer, you will be working within our Income Team to manage the prevention and recovery of rent arrears and other debts.

Responsibilities

  • Recover rent arrears and service charges from an assigned account.
  • Respond back to all resident correspondence regarding the management of their account.
  • Offer money management advice to assist the resident in prioritisation of rent and service charge payments and reduction of arrears.
  • Ensure residents receive appropriate advice and guidance regarding benefits and welfare entitlements to maximise their potential income, making appropriate referrals where identified.
  • To represent Hyde by attending and presenting cases professionally at court.
  • Refer cases to appropriate teams/external agencies where more in depth advice is required.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Rent arrears recovery / debt collection experience is preferable
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Verbal & written communication skills
