My client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Assistant Director for Digital, Data and Customer Service on a Contract basis.

The role will set the vision and strategy for customer services at the Council and ensure it is

embedded and understood by colleagues across the organisation.

Local Authority experience is essential.

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

  • Be the strategic voice of the customer: championing customer focus and strategic change to improve customer experience to provide 'right first time' solutions for Hackney's residents, and influencing strategic decision makers and elected members.
  • Accountable for all aspects of customer services delivery - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - ensuring that residents and businesses receive a high quality customer experience and their needs are met.
  • Strategic leadership of the Digital Product and Delivery functions. Accountable for the development, delivery and ongoing improvement of modern digital services that support a high quality customer experience, enable efficient, joined up service delivery that supports the Council's strategic move to modern, cloud-based digital services.
  • Strategic leadership of the Data and Insight service, maximising the value of our data assets to fully understand the customer experience and inform future decisions about service delivery and strategic direction.

About you:You will have the following experiences:

  • Extensive experience in a senior customer services lead role, delivering channel shifts and service improvements, etc.
  • Deep Digital and Data knowledge
  • Strategic service delivery experience that supports the strategic needs of the client organisation.
  • Local Authority experience is essential

What's on offer:

  • Salary: £600 per day, inside IR35
