Digital Project Manager - 6-Month Maternity Cover

A leading digital agency is looking for a Digital Project Manager to join a high-profile client's team. In this 6-month maternity cover contract, you'll be responsible for delivering innovative digital products, content, and strategy for a major automotive brand's online presence.
The primary focus will be leading one of three squads to deliver new designs, features, and content on the client's website. You will collaborate with internal UX teams, development partners, and the client's Product Owner to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the discovery, design, and solutioning of new tools and features, including finance calculators and technical features/releases in AEM.
- Implement optimised UX designs across the platform.
- Manage model launches, campaigns, seasonal updates, and CRO tests.
- Oversee content-only updates and troubleshoot platform and content-related issues with development partners.
- Act as the project lead through the full lifecycle: from project definition and scoping to delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, following processes, and mitigate risks both internally and with clients.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including statements of work (SOW), briefs, timing plans, and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Hive).
- Coordinate sprints, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and act as the client's internal advocate.
- Lead client communications to ensure expectations are set and met, maintaining strong agency-client relationships.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in digital project management, with at least 2 years in a similar or senior role.
- Strong background in delivering large-scale, user-centred digital projects.
- Experience managing projects in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Client-facing experience with a focus on collaboration and delivering client success.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams, both internally and externally.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- This role requires being based in the office 3 days per week.
