Position Overview:We are seeking an IT Delivery Manager who will act as a crucial link between the IT department and various business units. This role will focus on fostering strong relationships, understanding business needs, and ensuring that technology solutions align with organisational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and related technologies. The successful candidate will be able to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the IT team and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of IT capabilities and services.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with global teams, with a focus on the UK entity.
  • Advocate for business needs within the IT team and ensure effective prioritisation of requests and issues.
  • Manage escalation processes effectively, ensuring that priorities are directed to the right individuals in a timely manner.
  • Oversee and balance workload across IT initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of projects and services.
  • Provide basic understanding and clarification on IT infrastructure, networking, and technology for stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations, and ensure that IT solutions align with business objectives.
  • Enable a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas of opportunity within IT service delivery and business interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and technology concepts is essential; no specialised technical expertise required.
  • Previous experience at a service desk or customer support function is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills with an emphasis on time management and workload balancing.
