Utilities Customer Roll Out Manager - Smart Water Metre

This is a Customer Roll out contract role working in an organisation planning major roll outs of Smart Water Metres across the UK. This role will be working directly with Water companies, mapping out the delivery of metres.

The key responsibilities for this role includes:

  • Delivery Management Specialist is a high calibre delivery professional responsible for leading cross-functional teams
  • Creation of all appropriate documents and deliverable as outlined by Value Management Office.
  • Delivery Manager to work in alignment with Product to ensure customer focused delivery is achieved in line with Product Roadmap and Budgets.
  • Manage customer and supplier relationships to ensure ongoing cost effective and high-quality delivery during project execution in alignment with Product.
  • Defines project governance models and reporting structures for effective project delivery, and communicates (and updates) business stakeholders
  • Define and implement programme controls and governance (aligned with Value Management Office) to ensure process, documentation, risks and issues and Health and Safety practice comply with best practice and ISO standards
  • Responsible for supporting cross-functional teams in project or product delivery

The key experience and knowledge required for this role includes:

  • Understanding of the Utilities industry.
  • Rollout experience on a large scale.
  • Ability to work with closely with customers and be external facing, managing expectations.
  • Substantial experience managing medium, large and complex change.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, preferably having previously supported the transformation to a more agile environment
