Utilities ManagerAnnual Salary: £47,321Location: Hybrid, with at least 40% of working time on site, Stratford, LondonJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeJoin the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) as a Utilities Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in the regeneration of East London around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. This role is ideal for someone who is practical, resourceful, and enjoys engaging in a variety of workstreams including delivering park utilities services and working on sustainability projects.Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Monitor utility consumption across the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the venues, identifying energy saving opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth completion of projects, driving energy savings through optimization of existing assets and control systems.
  • Collaborate with venue operators and tenants to achieve energy savings.
  • Work with the FM Manager for day-to-day management of engineering and building services across the Park.
  • Act as project manager for nominated park projects, managing the procurement of works and associated capital budget expenditure.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with FM contractors and external stakeholders.
  • Manage any allocated project budgets and support finance processes including raising PO’s and goods receipting.
  • Organize team deliverables, taking responsibility for key tasks and supporting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in utilities management within a multi-site field is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively with several stakeholders.
  • Responsive to changing operational requirements and demands.
  • High-level influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills and strong organizational abilities.
  • Some previous project management or works management experience.
  • Understanding of finance processes and purchase orders.
  • Health and Safety training, IOSH or NEBOSH or any other relevant H&S/CDM course.
  • Ideally a member of a recognised institute.
