About the Service
SMART is a key service that provides a 24/7 365 day alarm monitoring and response service to circa 6,000 vulnerable people. Service users have pendant alarms and other Telecare devices to request assistance in a crisis e.g., where the client has fallen. SMART team officers monitor activations from clients and arrange assistance as necessary.
