Description

The Role:
As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and installation of various building fabric elements, with a specific focus on fire doors. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and enhance the overall safety of our campus facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain fire doors to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Carry out general fabric maintenance and repair tasks across the campus.
  • Work closely with the facilities management team to address maintenance requests and prioritise tasks.
  • Conduct assessments to identify and resolve issues related to building fabric.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and assist in developing maintenance schedules.
