Our client based in East London provide housing management services in partnership with local authorities and are currently looking for a Cleaner/Safety Check Officer to manage their properties. You must have good knowledge and understanding of health & safety and buildings. This role requires you to be a driver. Every day you will be provided with a schedule of works and a list of jobs for that day.You must be a driver and willing to drive to different locations in inner/outer London. A van a petrol card will be provided. Timings are 8:45am to 5:45pm.

Job Responsibilities

• To ensure communal areas are always clean and tidy

• To ensure testing of alarms, AOV & Emergency lights are in working order

• To record and take pictures on a bespoke reporting tablet.

• Larger building may have additional testing requirements

• Working to a schedule of properties that will need visiting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience of working on an inspection team previously or in a similar role

• Experience of completing an accurate assessment of properties visited with detailed reporting and truthful completion of documents that support the services to the business to ensure that properties meet the required standards.

• Experience of dealing with Tenant viewings and inductions and supporting with all type of tenant activities.

• Knowledge of HMO management is a requirement as you will be liaising with tenants, residents, council employees, the maintenance team, management, and contractors.
