Role purpose:

A Local Authority based in Ealing are recruiting for multiple cleaning positions. The successful candidate will undertake team and individual work as a cleaning operative across various sites. You will clean according to agreed schedules for sites including, clearing waste bins on floors, washing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning, sweeping, mopping as appropriate and cleaning tasks within cleaning specification.

Candidate Specification:

  • demonstrable previous cleaning experience
  • understanding and working awareness and of relevant Health and Safety procedures and systems including COSHH, Manual Handling, Personal Protective Equipment, Slips Trips and Falls etc. sufficient to safely work without direct supervision, working well in a team and understanding of reporting accident, incident and near miss.
  • effective verbal and written communication skills including ability to liaise with stakeholders and monitor cleaning comments books.
