Cleaning Operative Haringey, London15 hours per week3month ContractMonday - Friday, 06:00am - 09:00amOur client is looking for dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operatives to join their Operational Facilities Management team. As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities, ensuring that high standards are consistently met.Cleaning Operative Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste disposal
  • Clean and sanitise washrooms, including descaling toilets, urinals, and showers
  • Carry out periodic deep cleaning, including fridges and microwaves
  • Handle spillages, including bodily fluids, following proper health & safety procedures
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained, stored properly, and safe to use. Follow COSHH regulations when using cleaning chemicals.
  • Wear and maintain the Haringey Facilities Team uniform and necessary PPE
  • Report any faults, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
  • Attend training sessions and team meetings as required.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 6 months experience in a similar cleaning role.
  • Understanding of COSHH and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of correct cleaning techniques and colour coding.
  • Basic English and Maths skills.
  • Commitment to health & safety procedures and the clients policies.

  • DBS Check Required - This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
