Leading Travel Company, one of the UK's largest independent Tour Operators selling via Travel Agents, is expanding its team of Cruise Consultants. This Trade Sales Travel Company is seeking a Cruise Specialist to join their growing team as a homeworker, selling to Travel Agents.

You will be handling incoming sales calls from various travel trade partners, putting together tailor-made cruise holidays to long haul destinations by understanding the customer's travel needs, budgets and interests to build their perfect tailor-made cruise holiday.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Tailor-making cruise itineraries to long haul destinations to suit the clients individual needs.
  • Meeting and exceeding personal objectives, including sales, revenue and productivity targets
  • Follow up sales enquiries promptly and liaise with customers and Travel partners
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Offer expertise, advice and knowledge to Travel Agent partners and customers about destinations, airlines and ground arrangements.
  • Provide cruise packages that are "tailor-made" to suit the individual needs of our clients.
  • Take advantage of opportunities and up-sell whenever possible.

Skills Required:

  • Experience selling tailor-made cruise itineraries to long haul destinations
  • Experience using a GDS is essential, preferably Galileo
  • Experience within a target driven sales environment
  • Excellent geographical knowledge and previous travel experience to long-haul destinations
  • The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
  • To have a professional manner
  • To have a passion for travel

The Package:

  • A competitive basic salary of £26,000 plus uncapped commission
  • Fully home working

Hours:

  • Monday - Friday: 9am - 5:45pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 5pm (2 Saturday's per month with a day off In Lieu)
  • No bank holidays or Sundays
