- Course Design and Delivery: Develop and teach engaging digital skills courses that cater to disadvantaged and vulnerable Islington residents, employing effective assessment tools and innovative teaching techniques.
- Administrative Duties: Complete and submit necessary paperwork, including enrolment forms, registers, course evaluations, and statistical information by deadlines.
- Student Engagement: Encourage regular attendance, punctuality, and progression of learners towards further education and employment, following up on absences as needed.
- Teach digital skills across various community settings, including neighbourhood learning centres, libraries, schools, and children’s centres.
- Integrate digital skills and employability into course designs and delivery.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders and Curriculum Managers to enhance subject areas that meet the needs of Islington residents.
- Participate in course and curriculum reviews, contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in professional development aligned with teaching observations and appraisals.
- Utilize information technology systems to efficiently carry out duties.

Essential Qualifications:
- Level 3 teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS or AET) with relevant experience.
- Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE, CSE, GCE, Functional Skills, or equivalent).
Essential Experience:
- Significant adult teaching experience in community or further education settings.
- Experience working with hard-to-reach and vulnerable adult learners.
- Diverse teaching experience in accredited and non-accredited programs.
- Proven ability to collaborate with voluntary and community organisations.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to design and deliver effective courses to adults facing barriers to learning.
