£220.00 Day Rate (Approx 2-3 Days Per Week Ongoing)
Self Employed / Part Time Contractor
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Upholstery & Furniture Repair Technician for a successful furniture repair & restoration business to contract 2-3 days per week to begin with, with the expectation that work will increase for the successful candidate once they have proved their level of workmanship.
Offering an attractive rate of pay (£220.00 Day Rate), part time working days (Self Employed) they are seeking a talented Commercial or Bespoke Upholsterer or Furniture Technician or Furniture Upholsterer to join their small growing team and cover London and surrounding region.
Commercial Upholsterer & Furniture Technician duties & responsibilities:
- Conduct Furniture & Upholstery repairs on site at Commercial premises such as hotels and restaurants
- To be able to machine cut and sew onsite using portable Sewing Machine
- Ensure all repairs meet the required quality standards
- Have your own commercial vehicle, tools and appropiate work documents and insurance
Commercial Upholsterer & Furniture Technician - What We Are Looking for:
- Previous Commercial Upholstery and Furniture repair experience
- Have experience in repairing both fabric and leather commervcial seating
- The ability to measure, cut and machine sew material and leather on site
- Have a natural ability to access and come up with solutions to enable a quick yet effective response to any issues that may arise
- Have your own commercial vehicle, tools and Public Liability Insurance
- Full UK Drivers License
- Eligible to live and work in the UK without VISA Sponsorship
