Senior Urban Designer Job in London

We have a new opportunity with AJ100 who has a Senior Urban designer Job. This role offers a chance to work on a variety of UK based projects including regeneration, residential and historic projects as part of a growing London team.

This AJ100 has over 300 employees and 12 studios across the UK, they are currently expanding its urban design and master planning department, Projects include new build developments and Urban regeneration projects across the UK. Due to this they are now seeking a Senior Urban Designer to work directly under the urban design director.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage urban design and master planning projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with architects, studio directors, and other stakeholders across multiple offices to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Assist with business development activities, supporting bids and building client relationships to secure new projects
  • Give support junior team members.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience of leading regeneration and strategic housing projects
  • UK project experience is essential
  • A background in Urban design, with a solid understanding of commercial considerations and the ability to produce viable design solutions
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp
  • Excellent writing, drawing, and communication skills
  • Capacity to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience in engaging with clients and managing complex projects.
