We are seeking a talented and hands-on Lead UX/UI Designer, playing a crucial role in shaping the user experience for our suite of digital products. You will lead a small but dynamic team of two designers, driving the vision for our user-centric design approach while actively contributing to the hands-on design work. Description

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams-including product, development, and marketing-and play a key role in translating complex ideas into intuitive and visually appealing digital solutions. Experience with Figma and knowledge of HTML are essential, as you'll collaborate with developers to ensure smooth design-to-development transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead UX/UI Strategy: Drive the UX/UI design vision for our digital products, aligning them with the company's mission of promoting sustainability and biodiversity.
  • Hands-on Design: Actively participate in designing wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces, ensuring seamless user journeys across web and mobile platforms.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team of 2 designers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and agile work environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are fully aligned with business goals and development capabilities.
  • Design Thinking & User Research: Apply design thinking methodologies to user research, gathering insights that drive continuous improvement in the user experience.
  • HTML Exposure: Collaborate with developers by understanding basic HTML structure, ensuring that design intentions are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • User Testing & Feedback: Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs, creating optimal, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Agile Workflow: Contribute to an agile working environment, ensuring design outputs align with sprint cycles and deadlines.

Profile

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments.
