Art Technician - Immediate Start | Full-Time | Secondary School | Southwark
A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Technician to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term position, offering a fantastic opportunity to be part of a creative and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support art teachers in preparing and organising materials and equipment for lessons.

Set up and maintain tools, resources, and workspaces for practical art sessions.

Ensure the safe storage and use of art materials, including paints, tools, and chemicals.

Assist students with technical aspects of their work during lessons.

Help maintain an orderly, inspiring, and well-stocked art room.

Support the display and exhibition of student artwork throughout the school.
Requirements:

A strong interest in art and creativity.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience in a technician or similar support role is preferred but not essential.

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required.
Pay: Dependent on experience.
