We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate Lecturer to join our dedicated Built Environment team at our West London campus. This role is ideal for professionals from the construction industry who are eager to shape the future of education in this vital sector, particularly with the introduction of T Levels.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver educational programs from Level 2 to Level 5, including BTEC/Edexcel/Pearson courses in Construction and the Built Environment and Civil Engineering.
- Plan and develop curriculum and course materials for T Levels and other related qualifications.
- Engage and inspire students through dynamic teaching methods and compelling course content.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to promote learning and improvement.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching standards and practices.
- Collaborate with industry professionals to ensure that the curriculum meets current industry standards and practices.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction industry.
- Strong commitment to high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undertake teacher training if not already qualified, which will be fully funded by the College.
