Are you an innovative and inspiring Design & Technology Teacher looking to join a dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join our thriving team in Haringey from January 2024.

The Role

As a DT Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach at KS5 depending on experience.
  • Inspire students to develop practical skills, technical understanding, and creative thinking.
  • Contribute to the development of an exciting and forward-looking DT curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them succeed.
  • Support extracurricular activities and projects to enrich the student experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Has a strong academic background in Design & Technology or a related subject.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
  • Is committed to continuous professional development and improving student outcomes.
  • Has experience in teaching a range of DT disciplines, such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, or Graphics (desirable but not essential).
  • Shares our passion for promoting creativity and innovation.
