The Role
As a DT Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach at KS5 depending on experience.
- Inspire students to develop practical skills, technical understanding, and creative thinking.
- Contribute to the development of an exciting and forward-looking DT curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them succeed.
- Support extracurricular activities and projects to enrich the student experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Has a strong academic background in Design & Technology or a related subject.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
- Is committed to continuous professional development and improving student outcomes.
- Has experience in teaching a range of DT disciplines, such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, or Graphics (desirable but not essential).
- Shares our passion for promoting creativity and innovation.
