GSL Education London Branch is looking for a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a well-respected secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea. If you are an enthusiastic educator with a love for food and nutrition, this is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Food Technology to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Teach students about nutrition, food preparation, and healthy eating habits.
  • Encourage creativity and practical skills through hands-on cooking lessons.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic learning environment in the food technology classroom.
  • Support students with coursework and practical assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience as a Food Technology Teacher in a UK secondary school.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food and nutrition education.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • A valid DBS registered on the update service.
